OUR STORY

432 Fitness came about from a conversation between Liam and Nigel following one of their routine training sessions.  Between them they wanted to create an online platform where Liam could use all the knowledge and experience he has acquired to provide frameworks for any individual at any stage of their life to improve and maintain their long term health and fitness.  We have called these frameworks “pathways”.  These pathways use the breadth of Liam’s skillset to provide:

  • Science based guidance on how to use the library of exercise videos
  • Instructional videos for completing every exercise precisely
  • A recommended approach to nutrition to support the different pathways
  • Any cardiovascular activity needed in addition to the videos to achieve the ultimate outcomes from the pathways

The frameworks have also been designed to be flexible so they can fit into anyone’s diary, with videos that are about 15, 30 and 45 minutes in length.  They are also designed to support you in whatever exercise environment you are in, with videos that don’t need any equipment, ones with a limited set of equipment and more in a gym.  There is also guidance on how to personalise these workouts based on your level of fitness and capability.

LIAM GRIMLEY

Hi, I am Liam, the co-founder of 432 Fitness. I have worked in the health and fitness industry for over 20 years.  I have always been interested in this area and achieved a BSc (Honours) degree in Sport Rehabilitation and Sport Science, as well as doing further studies in nutrition and fascial treatment.  Over the many years of practising as a rehabilitator and trainer I have researched numerous different approaches to fitness.  I bring a breadth and depth of scientific and evidence based knowledge combined with a wealth of experience across a broad spectrum of training techniques.  I am constantly expanding my expertise through ongoing research and training in new practices.

NIGEL BRIDGE

I’m Nigel, the co-founder of 432 Fitness. With more than 30 years of experience in commercial roles in large corporate businesses I am bringing my knowledge and expertise to 432 Fitness and look after the administration of the company.
Liam has been my personal trainer since 2010. After injuring my back in my early twenties, and years of physio trying to manage it, I decided to try exercising more.  I  was looking for a personal trainer who could help me to do this safely and guide me in building my strength to be able to live without ongoing risk of pain or further injury.  Thankfully, I found Liam who stood out because of his qualifications and over the years has demonstrated his incredibly in-depth knowledge and skills.  The fact that we still train together on a regular basis after more than a decade is testament to this, as well as his ability to keep the training challenging and fun!
